The UGC has sanctioned the Women’s Study Centre and released an amount of Rs. 5.00 lakhs in IX Plan during the year 1999-2000.   The Centre had been active in conducting various activities. 

The Centre for Women studies has conducted two National Seminars, 3 workshops, four research projects, Seven awareness programmes, Two field surveys, Three Open forums and two medical health camps. The Centre has conducted 16 programmes, four work-shops and two field studies.
