The University has a Central Instrumentation Centre and a Central Workshop to cater to the needs of all the Science Departments of the University. The centre has purchased a FTIR Spectrophotometer Model BX-1 system and UV-VIS spectrophotometer Model Lambda-25 and installed the same with the financial assistance from UGC IX Plan grants for Rs. 10.00 lakhs and Rs. 4.5 lakhs respectively. They are being used by several research scholars and teaching staff of various faculties. The centre has also purchased DSC & TGA from the special assistance of UGC for Rs. 22.00 lakhs.
