  1. Prof. V. Madhavan
    Got Young Scientist Award in 1981, awarded by the Andhra Pradesh Academy of Science, Hyderabad for the work of the newly discovered Elchuru Alkaline Pluton, Prakasham District, Andhra Pradesh.

2. Visits abroad by the faculty:

  1. Prof.V.Madhavan
    Visited Australia during September, 1990 (Adelaid and Sydney) to present (oral ) a paper in the second International Dyke conference. The paper was published in the volume "Mafic Dykes and Emplacement Mechanisms".
    Visited U.S.A. (Duluta, Minnnesota) during August-September, 1995 to participate in the International field conference and symposium.
    Visited Brazil (Riode janiero ) during August, 2000 to participate in the 31st International Geological Congress. Presented a key note paper.
