Administrative positions held by the faculty

The Teachers of the Department of Telugu have been contributing a great deal to the University by holding various administrative positions apart from the statutory positions of headship, Deanship and Chairperson work.

a) Executive Council Member;: Dr. K.V. Ramakoti Sastry: worked as Executive Council Member of Kakatiya University, from 1987-1990.

 

b) Director of SDLCE: Prof. K.V. Ramakoti Sastrty has appointed Founder Director of School of Distance Education, Kakatiya University., in the year 1998.

c) Principal: Dr. K. Suprasanna Charya was appointed as Principal University Evening College, Kakatiya University for 3 years form 1987-1990.

d) Director of Kakatiya Adyayana Kendram: Our faculty member Dr. P. Jagannadham was appointed as Founder Director of Kakatiya Adhyayana Kendram (Pre Examination Training Center) for S.C, S.T. & B.C. students for six years (from 1985-1991).

e) Hostel Wardens: Dr. A. Bhoomaiah was appointed as warden for University Hostel for one year.(1987-88)
Dr. K. Katyayani has been appointed as warden for ladies Hostel for Two terms. (1988-90), (1993-1995)

f) Nss Program Officer

1. Dr. A. Bhoomaiah – University College, 1988-89.
2. Dr. K. Katyayani – University Arts & Science College, 1990-91.

g) Director S.C & S.T Cell: Dr. B. Ilaiah has been appointed as Director S.C & S.T. cell of Kakatiya University for 2 years form 1999-2000.

h) Additional Controller of Examinations: Dr.B. Ilaiah was appointed as Addl. Controller of examinations, Kakatiya University, for 1 ½ year from 2000 to 2001
