The UGC, New Delhi, sanctioned an amount of  Rs.35.00 lakh to the University to establish Telangana Study Centre and the Department of Economics, has been identified as the Nodal Centre for the Centre and constituted Advisory Committee with The Head, Department of Economics, as Director. It has built up a library and computer centre and is carry out studies related to Telangana.
