Consequent to the establishment of the University, all the departments of erstwhile PG Centre were brought under the control of Univerity College. Post Graduate degree, diploma and research programmes are offered in the faculties of Arts, Science, Social Sciences and Commerce & Business Management at the University College in the sixteen departments on the campus. New Courses like Five Years Integrated M.Sc. course in Chemistry and Pre-MS IT programme, Master’s Degree in Micro-biology, Bio-Technology, Informatics, Master of Library & Information Science (M.L.I.Sc.) and Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) were introduced in the recent
past.
