BIOGRAPHY OF Prof. N. LINGA MURTHY
Prof. N. Linga Murthy was born on 14-12-1951 and joined in teaching profession in 1975 at a reputed degree college. Later, he joined in Kakatiya University service in 1981 and has 33 years of teaching experience out of which 24 years at Post Graduate level. Apart from teaching, he has guided 21 M.Phil. Scholars and 10 Ph.D. scholars besides publishing more than 20 papers in reputed journals. Prof. Murthy had been very closely associated with academic administration of the university for the past 15 years in several capacities. He worked as Head & Chairman, Board of Studies in the Department of Economics, Incharge, Publication Cell, Principal of the Campus College, Controller of Examinations and at present he is the Director, School of Distance Learning and Continuing Education and Self-Financing Courses of Kakatiya University, Warangal. He is the Chairman of the Grievance Redressal of Non-teaching employees of the University. Prof. Murthy is also working as member of the Peer Team Committees of National Assessment and Accreditation Council of India (NAAC).
