BIOGRAPHY OF Prof. N. LINGA MURTHY
Prof. N. Linga Murthy was born on 14-12-1951 and joined in the teaching profession in 1975 at a reputed degree college in Warangal. Later, he joined in the Kakatiya University service in 1981 and has 33 years of teaching experience out of which 28 years at Post Graduate level. Apart from teaching, he has guided 19 M.Phil. Scholars and 7 Ph.D. scholars besides publishing more than 40 papers in reputed journals. Prof. Murthy had been very closely associated with academic administration of the university for the past 25 years in several capacities. He worked as the Head & Chairman, Board of Studies in the Department of Economics, Incharge, Publication Cell, Principal of the Campus College, Controller of Examinations, Director, School of Distance Learning and Continuing Education and Self-Financing Courses of Kakatiya University, Warangal. He was the Chairman of the Grievance Redressal of Non-teaching employees of the University. Prof. Murthy is the member of Peer Team Committees of National Assessment and Accreditation Council of India (NAAC). At present, he is the Vice-Chancellor, Kakatiya University.
