The department of zoology is established in the year 1976 with a built-up area of 15,137 sq.ft in the university college campus and is currently headed by Prof. C. Janaiah. The department have academic, administrative and financial autonomy. The department is equipped with advance facilities such as Animal House, Computer facility, Museum.
